Kemp Cottage - The Kemp Cottage is located in Turtle Cove, Islamorada's quaint enclave of four single family homes all with their own personality and characteristics. All four cottages share the property's amenities: pool, boat basin, tropical sprawling grounds, ping pong table, kayaks, paddle boards and more. This romantic studio cottage is nestled into lush tropical landscaping. It is perfect for a couple's getaway or a writer's retreat. The Kemp Cottage can be rented separately or in combination with any of the three other homes.
If booking more than a year in advance current prices may not reflect the annual cost of living increase.
Many of our guests' re-book the same property on an annual basis. No reservation is confirmed until you speak with us.

The biggest factor for me in a rental is it’s cleanliness and Kemp Cottage was superb! Cozy and bright. Very nice grounds and pool was kept at a perfect temperature. Would definitely stay again

Beautiful studio, had everything we needed and it was immaculate. Location was great with our boat a very short walk, fishing was fantastic . Nice pool, gated property, safe and quiet. No complaints.

The unit was exactly perfect for a weeks stay ,The Grounds are a 10 ,Sue the property manger was very responsive for the few small items we needed help with !

Our expectations were exceeded for sure!!! That’s why we renewed our lease for February 2023. Very private and decorated so beautifully. The kitchen was great and had all the accoutrements that we needed to prepare meals. The was a second small fridge and last but not least a wine fridge!!! Meet some very nice fold at pool and one could host us all for drinks and food on their deck! Thank you Sue for all!!!

The feeling of a resort, minus the cabana boy. Cozy, beachy vibe steps away from the pool and ocean view. The grounds create a private, tropical oasis. Don’t hesitate to book this one!

Great cottage on beautiful grounds. Very tropical feeling. Cottage was cute and well appointed. Sue the host was very responsive to questions I had. I can't reccomend this cottage enough.

Perfect for a couples retreat! Very private studio nestled in the middle of the property. Includes access to the pool, kayaks, paddleboards and other water activity equipment. The cottage has everything you need for a self-sufficient stay but is in very close proximity to local beaches, restaurants, shoppers, etc. Sue was very efficient in getting us checked in and such a welcoming host! The property was pristine and beautifully landscaped. I highly recommend the cottage for any single traveler or couple looking to get away from it all

Everything was well thought out and easy.
This was an exceptional vacation from start to finish. The grounds are beyond beautiful and wonderfully secluded. Kemp Cottage was perfect for us, even better than we imagined. As first I thought we would need more room, but the answer was no! It was perfect and... I'm a perfectionist.
